Alex

Alex was born and raised outside of Washington D.C., in Arlington, VA, but went northward for his undergraduate education -- double-majored in History and Political Science at the University of Toronto. Having experienced first-hand what it means to be an American student at a Canadian university, he's come full circle, returning to work at the Canadian Embassy in Washington to promote Canadian academics through a number of different avenues. Alex is responsible for coordinating and executing major parts of the academic relations program and encourages all Americans to ConsiderCanada!

Tara

Tara is a native of Toronto, but put in her time on the West Coast when she attended the University of British Columbia, where she earned her degree in International Relations and Business. In 2005, Tara abandoned her ambitions to become a professional snowboarder and moved to Washington, DC. She now works in the Research and Academic Relations section at the Canadian Embassy and is actively involved in ConsiderCanada and a number of other research and academic activities.

An American raised primarily in the northern state of Vermont, Drew is a student at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he is pursuing a degree in International Politics with a concentration in foreign policy and a minor in Eurasian, Russian, and Eastern European Studies. He currently works as a summer intern in the Research and Academic Relations office at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, and hopes to gain valuable insight on how close U.S. allies such as Canada practice public diplomacy in his home country.
