Studying Abroad
As part of their university experience, students may spend a semester or year abroad broadening their horizons or taking advantage of special programs. Most Canadian universities have partner schools around the world that facilitate an overseas experience, but independent exchanges are often permitted with the support of your department. When attending a partner school, students normally pay tuition to their home school and receive academic credit.
Where could I study?
Each Canadian university offers unique options for studying abroad. For instance, you might find opportunities to travel to England, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Italy or France. Possible travel destinations will not only depend on what university you are attending, but also what subject you are studying.
